First and foremost give thanks for each and every day my eyes open. I also give thanks for those who are positively involved in my life and pray for those that continue to be negative. After that I look for at least one God given beautiful thing (leaves changing color) and try to do at least one thoughtful thing for someone else daily. It can be an acknowledgement, an expression of encouragement or sharing a small treat. I try to pass on the sunshine that someone else sends my way (whether through an email or smile) via a few positive rays to those I feel can best benefit from them.
Try spreading ta few of your rays to someone you know can use them. It’s really rewarding.

Wish I had something cheerful to post, but after the weekend’s headlines with the house of horrors, triple shooting in Lake county I don’t feel inspired.
Wish the City could have a different set of healines. Shame! Shame ! Shame!

What is safe any more? Where can our children play? It’s very scary though with faith we can win any battle. When looking for this article I ran across an another article about a mother who’s two sons had been caught in a fire. I don’t know how relevant it is but it caught my attention. The grandmother was home with the children and got herself out of the fire. She told the kids ages 3 & 5 to crawl out. She said she guesses they were too small to know what crawl means…. So this Halloween, the very house her boys died in, their mother made into a haunted house with headstones and pictures of them. The very halls the boys couldn’t crawl down was now open as a haunted house. What do you think about that?

All of this stuff is sick. Like everyone else I’m wondering if we have to be featured as a City for any purpose, why something so forrible? It’s mind boggling as we witness more and more video of bodies being pulled out. They need to tear the whole structure down. Nothing good can come out of trying to rehab that “house of horrors”.
What I desperately want to know is how did a mind become that twisted. How soon will we learn who the real person was? How do you go from being honorably discharged as a Marine to a full blown killer? What’s the deal with the rage against wome?
